“Agera Energy’s corporate commitment since day one has been to make a positive difference and to give back to our communities to ensure they flourish and grow. What better way to give back to our community then to support the volunteer firefighters who selflessly give to the community each and every day” said Kevin Cassidy, Founder of Agera Energy. Cassidy, with both personal and business ties to the Briarcliff Manor area for many years, formed and founded Agera Energy in 2014 and it has since grown to become one of the largest retail energy suppliers in the country.

Joining Kevin in support of the event is Steve Laker, current Chief Operating Officer of Agera Energy. “Growing up my father was a life member of Cortlandt Engine Company in Montrose so I’ve attended firemen’s parades for as long as I can remember. It is an honor to be able to support the 2017 Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Convention and Parade” said Steve Laker.

Agera Energy and it’s Agera Cares initiative is proud to support the 2017 Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Convention and Parade.

“As one of the smaller villages in Westchester County hosting this event, we greatly appreciate Agera Energy’s very generous support for Westchester County’s volunteer firefighters,” said Alan Goodkin, who chairs this year’s fundraising committee.

The Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association: Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association President Robert Outhouse stated that the association was “founded in 1906, the Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association has been a power in New York State and has helped facilitate significant levels of legislation, for the benefit firefighters, adopted by New York State. For decades, the Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association fought for a Training Center, and it obtained one of the finest in the State of New York. This would not have been accomplished without the unity and major push of the membership of the WCVFA. Today, the WCVFA continues to maintain a watchful eye for public and firefighter safety.” For ad journal/sponsorship information, please contact Alan Goodkin via email at alan@ackmanziff.com or cell: 917-692-8470.
